The Church’s One Foundation
Eph
2:20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets,
Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;

The
Foundation of the Church is the Word of God

The Word is
revealed to us through His revelation the word of God

The Scriptures
Rightly Reveal the Truth of Who Christ is

There are two
cornerstones to our faith

The New
Testament Scriptures (the Apostles)

Who were the
Apostles?

There are
only 12 of them

They had to have
seen the risen Lord in person

They had to
be specially commissioned by Christ Himself
