Stop Stealing!

 

Eph 4:28  Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth. 

            1.     Stop Stealing

a.     Theft begins with covetousness

                                               i.     Colossians 3:5 

b.     Theft is a lack of contentment

                                               i.     Hebrews 13:5 

                                             ii.     Philippians 4:10-13 

c.     Theft is a lack of faith

                                               i.     Philippians 4:19 

d.     Theft is a sin that will condemn you to hell

                                               i.     1 Corinthians 6:9-11 

              2.     Instead of Theft Begin to Practice the Following

a.     Learn to love work

                                               i.     1 Thessalonians 4:11 

b.     Learn to not despise manual labor

                                               i.     Philippians 2:5-8 

c.     Learn to be productive

                                               i.     1 Timothy 5:8 

                                             ii.     2 Thessalonians 3:10 

                                           iii.     Acts 20:33-35 

d.     Learn to be generous with what God has given you as a reward for your labors

                                               i.     Give without reservation

1.     2 Corinthians 8:1-4 

                                             ii.     Give all for Jesus
