The Righteous Are Bold As A Lion!

2Ti 1:7  For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 

1. God Does Not Make Cowards
1. The Greek word for fear is a derivative of the Greek word for slave. God does not want us to return to the slavery of the fear, but rather live our lives in courage. You have no need to fear because God gives you the following:

                                                              i.      You are adopted

1.      Romans 8:15 

                                                            ii.      New life

1.      Hebrews 2:14-15 

                                                          iii.      Perfect love

1.      1 John 4:16-19 

                                                          iv.      A powerful message to share

1.      Romans 1:16-17 

2. God Makes Heroes – He Gives Us:
1. The power to conquer the world

                                                              i.      Acts 1:8 

                                                            ii.      1 Corinthians 2:1-5 

2. A love that overcomes hate

                                                              i.      Romans 5:5-8 

3. A sound mind that stands in the in the face of evil

                                                              i.      Proverbs 28:1 

                                                            ii.      Ephesians 6:10-14
