How Do You Know that You are Saved?

1Jn 2:3  And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. 

1Jn 2:4  He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 

1Jn 2:5  But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. 

1Jn 2:6  He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked. 

1. If You Treasure the Commandments of Christ Then You Will Obey Him and that Obedience is Evidence of True Faith. – vs. 3*

2. A Person that Does not Treasure the Word of God Will Not Obey it and the Fruit of His Love For the World Will Quickly Become Evident to All. – vs. 4*

3. A Person that Treasures the Word of Christ Is a New Creature, Recreated to Good Works. Good Works Do Not Save You, But They are the Evidence of Saving Faith. – vs. 5*
